Andres began his architecture career in Colombia, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

In 2002, he moved to New Zealand, where he worked and lived in several cities. He worked on a variety of projects with diverse scales and typologies.

After a period of working across New Zealand, Andres studied a Master of Architecture in Sustainable Design at the University of Auckland.

In 2011, Andres moved to Sydney, where he has been working in close collaboration with Furio Valich from G+V Architecture (formerly Gordon Valich Architects) since 2012. Sadly, Furio passed away in early August 2021.

While working at G+V, Andres has been involved in high-end residential, inner-city housing, hospitality projects, educational projects, offices, and commercial building developments.

Working in a boutique practice of two people, Andres has gained experience dealing with all aspects of architecture, from concept to developed design, consultant coordination, and project delivery.
